Hornbill™, patented by Canopy Power, is a seamless, scalable, remote and smart Energy Management System (EMS) for renewable energy assets.
Hornbill is installed by default in all Canopy Power’s renewable microgrid systems to acquire performance data, visualize and analyse real-time system performance, monitor and manage the load and monetize renewable energy attributes.
Thanks to Hornbill™, our clients can visualize the performance of their renewable microgrid system remotely through a cloud-based portal.
Canopy Power engineering team also collects this data. Using our proprietary algorithms, we constantly optimize system parameters to minimize operational costs. Hornbill™ also integrates with blockchain to enable automatic creation of Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs).
Hornbill™ has hardware (data acquisition edge devices) and software (Hornbill Portal and data analytics services) components.
